Window of Heaven

Forlorn look on the aged, the jittery chattering of the young low
Head hung in despair,  shoulder dropped like a withered leaves
The earth long to quench it thirst. The green lily in dire need of dew
Mammals groans in discomfort, till the skin thicken in gloat
Throat tighten land dried up, exhaustion loomed large like the sun
Yearning longer that Nile, deeper need than the ocean depth
Rain, Rain Window of Heaven
Better are thou than any windows combined
Suddenly torrent drizzle like a volcanoes
Sneaking through the cloud veil
Cool breeze sweep across the earth
The trees dance to the melody of the breeze
The bird tweets and cooed on trees
The mammals leaps in excitement
The women wiggle their waist in laughter
The the dew trickle fickle the stems
With a tingling feast of wetness
The young sprouts, eager to explore
The bowed leaves leap in smile
The river bank overflow beyond it brims
As the earth drink to it fill,
It dry patchy , roughen face smoothen
Washing off the debris the way down the street
A serene ambience and view it creates
Of the abundance of the heavenly Window
Rain on me, Rain on us
Open wide the window

Thus says the LORD who made you
And formed you from the womb, who will help you, ‘
Do not fear, O Jacob My servant;
And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.
For I will pour out water on the thirsty land
And streams on the dry ground;
i will pour out My Spirit on your offspring
And My blessing on your descendants;
And they will spring up among the grass Like popla

    That picture really reassured and comforted me. It’s so wonderful when blessings are showered from heaven and everything starts to fall into place perfectly. 🙂

    Well written.
